.Limited prep, real life & poor momemtum
Game prep has not progressed well this week. Real life intervened a lot more than normal. The combination of solar panels installed on the house, and Jace’s birthday party tomorrow, kept me from writing. I confess to poor motivation through the middle of the week as I felt overwhelmed by the tasks facing me. This is a poor mental state, and I must learn to deal with this better.
As for the prep, I completed the administration tasks, The Sigil Courier, and little else. I was so sure I would sort the scanning too, but I ran out of time and motivation. As I have noted before, my energy levels through the week benefit from momentum. Monday was a good day for me, but then the fitters came on Tuesday, and it all fell apart from there.
Moving forward, my immediate concerns are to prepare for the party. The start of next week will focus on tidying up after the party, which does not bode well for a productive week. However, this lighter workload may give me time to catch up on this scanning. Some additional work on the setting would be good, but that may be asking too much.
Anyway, I hope you have a good weekend, and I shall try harder next week.
