RPG-a-day 2016: Day 4

The RPG-a-day project is a series of roleplaying questions to answer on social media. I have decided to join the fun this year. The host is the Brigade Con blog, where you can find the large image with the full list of questions.

Day 4

What is the most impressive thing that you can remember another player’s character doing in a session?

This is the partner question to the one from yesterday. Now the topic is a cool action by another character. This is easier for me to answer as the GM.

I am blessed with some very creative Players. Thus, I have a lot of cool actions to choose from. I love how my Players build the story, riff off the plot, mess with each other and generally produce cool sessions. However, this question requires a specific answer.

The most impressive action by a Hero was by Ethex, from the finale of the Sigil PD campaign. He selflessly used a bomb to close the portal, killing the infinity worm and trapping all the Heroes in a pocket dimension maze. This was a stunning finale to the campaign. Full credit to Dave, the Player, for putting drama ahead of character self-interest. Plus, the ending sets up the trapped Heroes to reappear in a later interlude, or perhaps as cameos in another campaign.
