Last year, I joined the #RPGaDay program. August has rolled around again, so it is time for a new set of gaming questions. I first stumbled on this idea over at Twitter, which suits the short answers possible to these questions.
The RPG-a-day project is hosted again at Brigade Con blog. Here you can find the full list of questions, if you want to read ahead. The blog describes the RPG-a-day process as follows:
There is a question for every day in August. You can answer a question each day, or just the ones that apply best to you. Just check the image for the daily question and share your answer wherever you talk about games on social media. Whether that is in status updates, or your blog or vlog, in tweets, or whatever, just answer the question for the day and use the hashtag: #RPGaDay.
What published RPG do you wish you were playing right now?
A very interesting question to start the month. I primarily GM, so a question about playing is not one I regularly consider. The simple answer would be HeroQuest Glorantha, just to see how another GM presents my favourite game.
However, a more interesting reply would be FATE. I tried to run this game, but failed to really make it come alive. I think I messed up the FATE point economy. Thus, it would be fascinating to play with an experienced FATE GM to see how it should be done. There is a FATE version of Day After Ragnarok, so I would choose that. I love the setting, I think a pulp style would be fun and I could see how the system should be run.
