August means the #RPGaDay program is live. We are now in the third week of this month-long series filling my schedule. The RPG-a-day project is hosted again at Brigade Con blog, where you can find the full list of questions.
What is the best source for out-of-print RPGs?
I would not be surprised if almost three-quarters of the answers to this question are the same. I do not buy many older RPGs, but I did about ten years ago. I only ever looked on eBay but found all that I wanted there. I could not afford them all, but there were plenty to choose from.
Over the years, I bought my Planescape box set, the Avalon Hill RuneQuest box, and several of the Hero Wars books, which were the precursor to HeroQuest. I also tracked down a few of the old MERP settings books, which are generally superb. I probably left bids on a lot more, but this was still a good haul.
