RPG-a-day 2017: Day 30

August means the #RPGaDay program is live. We are now in the last few days of this month-long series filling my schedule. The RPG-a-day project is hosted again at Brigade Con blog, where you can find the full list of questions.

I included a few more details in my launch post on Day 1

Day 30

What is an RPG genre-mashup you would most like to see?

One of my favourite settings in the amazing The Day After Ragnarok by Kenneth Hite. This combines pulp, horror and history into a weird alternate-history Earth after World War Two. This setting has proved very popular with my Players.

So, if I could create any setting I wanted, then I am drawn to imagining something similar. Ken is currently running an Ancient Greek campaign, and I want to read that. I really want Ken to write The Day After Thermopylae, a pulp, horror and ancient history mash-up. Who do I need to speak with at Pelgrane Press to make this happen?

Happy Gaming

The last time we played that setting, the players decided to play vault dwellers similar to the Fallout games. They were in the vault as part of a 4 month psychology experiment but then the serpent fell and the door to the vault was ordered shut as just as the tsunami was expected to hit. After some time, the vault was attacked by tunneling C.H.U.D. and they were forced to breach protocol and make their way to the surface in search of supplies.
