Summer in England is running out, September has arrived and the children are finally about to return to school. All of which means we are a month closer to December and another Dragonmeet.
My favourite convention is held this year on Saturday 2nd December. The venue is stable this year, with the second hosting at Novotel London West, in Hammersmith, London. At least I will know a better route to the entrance doors this year.
As ever, my first step is to buy the ticket online, which I completed at the weekend. I printed out my ticket and stored it safely in my copy of HeroQuest Glorantha. There will be a lot of disruption in the house between now and then, so I hope I picked a good place to keep it safe. At least I can check back here for a reminder.
Sadly, Phil-the-artist cannot attend this year, so I am back to solo travel. Advance train tickets are not yet available to buy, but I have signed up for the email alert. I expect to hear back later this month, so that is one part of my plan moving forward.
Meanwhile, the Dragonmeet website carries little new information about this year’s event. The site promises a second hall, so there should be a lot more to explore. Just like my last solo trip to Dragonmeet, I hope to arrange meet-ups with as many online friends as possible.
Will I see you there?
