Shadows of Ulubrae, Chapter 30, Part 4

  • Gaming next Saturday
  • Preparing for HeroQuest
  • Juggling my time

After a long break, we are back to gaming on Saturday. This means I need to be ready to run the game. Quiet time is hard to find around the house at the moment. However, I need to complete the usual round of game prep in readiness for running another session of HeroQuest on Saturday. This is my challenge for the end of the week.

I began well today, making a start on the Session Outline Sheet for Saturday. This was a decent beginning. Today was as busy as ever and thus left me with very little time. A lot more work is needed. All the effort I devoted last week to ready the Halloween interlude means nothing now. The rest of the week opens up for me, as there are no more school events. This should mean I have more time for the game prep.

The remainder of the Session Outline Sheet is my first priority. I also need to consider a few potential outcomes from the events of the previous session. Additional plots are already lined up, but it pays to weave in events from the last session if I can. I hope this means I do not need to prepare too many more story elements. Once the Session Sheet is finished, then the rest of the prep should be fairly quick. I just need to ensure I have enough time to work through these tasks.

With luck, I will have time to report back with another update on Friday.

Happy Gaming

Phil
