The Warlock’s Journal jumps from site to site, roughly every other month. October has brought a fresh host for the contest. Michael Christensen is the current host, over at Tiny Gork. The deadline for Michael’s contest is looming.
The topic for this round of the contest is a little different. For this month, Michael has created an interesting image, and he asked: “Who is it?”. This concept is described by Michael as follows:
The 35th Warlock’s Journal is upon us here at Tiny Gork. This time it’s gonna be another picture, a “who am I?” contest.
I love those picture contests, almost as much as I enjoyed that little wordplay we had here last time Tiny Gork hosted.
You now have the chance to create a monster, villain or any other kind of NPC! But it can be anything you fancy!
The deadline for entries is 25th October. This is the middle of next week, so you need to work fast. Entries can be of any genre, system neutral, and must describe the image in the picture found in the launch post at Tiny Gork. Submissions can be up to 1000 words. First prize is a pdf copy of Crimson Dragon Slayer by Venger Satanis an OSR/Fantasy self-contained game system that is not d20.
Best of luck, and start writing soon.
