- Total lack of progress
- Eased writing schedule
- Planning to return to Planet Albion
Despite my best intentions, I achieved very little game prep during the end of the week. To be fair, I struggled to write anything as the weeks of building stress really take their toll. My new schedule moving forward is much kinder to me. Simply keeping the blog running takes up enough time. On top of this, I need time for game prep.
Sundays are always focused on chores, so it will not be until Monday that I really find time to work on our next visit to Planet Albion. My first step is to write the actual play report from our previous session. This was pencilled into my blog schedule twice already, to no avail. While I have settled upon the planned tone for the report, I must still find the time to write it. If I can finish that on Monday, then the rest of the week should fall into place.
Ideally, I will repeat the prep model from the previous session. I have a few basic plans, but I need more time to build up a complete plot outline. After my rules failures, I should skim through the text again to ensure I make good my errors. I believe The Happiest Apocalypse on Earth could become a regular pick-up game for me. Planet Albion certainly has plenty of scope for additional plots. I just need to run the rules properly.
The Prep in Progress series comprises short summaries of my prep for the ongoing Tales of the Hero Wars campaign.
